BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A wanted Bowling Green man crashed into two vehicles while fleeing from police.

The Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force says it located Treshawn Hutchins, 26, of Bowling Green, at 144 Enterprise Court on Monday afternoon.

Hutchins was wanted on two separate warrants. The first was issued on December 27, 2022, for charges of second-degree assault, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, and first-degree criminal mischief. The second was issued on January 11, 2023, for first-degree bail jumping.

According to Bowling Green – Warren County Drug Task Force director Tommy Loving, the drug task force developed information that accused Hutchins in trafficking illegal drugs.

Hutchins had also pleaded guilty to shooting another person in the neck with an AR-15  in November 2022, according to Loving.

He says the shooting with the assault weapon occurred in the Sebern Place Apartment Complex during May 27, 2019.

On Monday, detectives attempted to apprehend Hutchins during an attempted traffic stop. Hutchins was driving a vehicle with a woman and female juvenile inside.

Detectives say Hutchins drove away from the scene and almost struck a detective’s vehicle. Hutchins allegedly drove recklessly through the landscape of Enterprise Court and into an open field before traveling onto Russellville Road.

Hutchins disregarded a stop sign and struck a vehicle operated by a woman. The woman did not sustain injuries.

Hutchins disregarded another attempt to stop his vehicle at the intersection of Woodmont Avenue and Russellville Road. Hutchins crashed into a second vehicle operated by a man, authorities say. The man did not sustain injuries due to the crash.

According to a uniform citation, Hutchins exited the vehicle and was apprehended by detectives. Hutchins and the two passengers were transported for medical treatment of minor injuries.

Hutchins is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), disregarding a stop sign, and disregarding a traffic controlled device-traffic light. He was also served two warrants.

The citation further states detectives conducted a search warrant at Hutchins’ residence, where they say they found a “trafficking amount of powder fentanyl,” ammunition and a hand gun. Authorities say they also seized a Cadillac, gun and $830 in cash.

Hutchins is lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.
