Voluntary recall issued for repackaged M&Ms due to undeclared allergens

KENTUCKY – A voluntary recall is ongoing for M&Ms distributed to 20 different states due to undeclared allergens.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall affects repackaged M&Ms candies under multiple best by dates and repackaged M&Ms peanut candies in 1.3-ounce packages with best by dates of April 30, 2026.

Both products do not declare multiple allergens, including milk, soy and peanut, according to the FDA. For full lot code information on affected products, click here.

Consumption of the affected products by those with allergies to milk, soy or peanuts could lead to a serious allergic reaction.

The FDA says the recall is ongoing since Jan. 26.
