Village Manor works to nurture nurses

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- Nurses all over South Central Kentucky will be well taken care of next Tuesday. Thanks to Village Manor, and their first Nurturing Our Nurse’s event, nurses from all over will be able to enjoy a nice relaxing day. The event will provide satisfying, and relaxing self-care for every nurse as a small thank you to the people who put the needs of others first.

“Our nurses are the backbone of our community. And without our nurses, none of us would be here. They take care of us. And I’ll be honest, nurses don’t take care of themselves. And so they’re some of our hardest patients. And so, again, it’s just a simple way for Village Manor Christian Care, just to say thank you and give back.” says Chris Minnich, the executive director at Village Christian Care Communities.

Chris also tells us that they will be providing self-care for every nurse who comes. If you’re a nurse you’ll be able to get a soothing massage, vitamin B-12 shots, raffle baskets and manicures on Tuesday, March 26th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1800 Westen St. Bowling Green, KY.
