Veteran and Kiwanis member Hayward Minton celebrates 104th birthday
WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- A local legend is celebrating 104 years of life, and one organization is surrounding him with love and support.
Hayward Minton has been alive for 104 years now; he’s seen America turn 150, 200 and now 250.
His impact over the years goes beyond his service in the military. Over the years, he’s also been encouraged to pour into the community that pours into him.
Minton, Kiwanis member and a local legend, says, “Well, I mean, there are so many people that don’t think they just don’t have it. Some have it, and some don’t. The greatest feeling I have ever had with having them come out physically.”
Hayward shared that he plans to celebrate his 105th birthday with the Kiwanis again next year.
