Venetian Ball raises money for child abuse prevention

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After a year of no in person fundraisers due to the pandemic, the Family Enrichment Center benefitted Saturday night from The Venetian Ball at the Baker Arboretum.

The ball included food, dancing and a silent auction. The auction alone made $4,560. Those proceeds, along with donations and other contributions at the ball all went toward the Family Enrichment Center’s child abuse prevention services.

“We’re really excited just because this is the first big event that we’ve gotten to host in person,”Katie Dykes, Family Enrichment Center Director of Development said. “We didn’t get to host this event last year so we’re really excited to be out here and see everybody again. And again we’re all raising money for these child abuse prevention programs.”
