Vehicle crashes into Scottsville nonprofit’s horse paddock fence

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Scottsville Police Department responded to an incident involving property damage that occurred Saturday evening.

SPD released a video of the vehicle driving south on Burnley Road at 11 pm, where it leaves the roadway and crashes into a fence on the property of the Center for Courageous Kids, a Scottsville-based nonprofit.

A representative from the Center for Courageous Kids tells WNKY News 40 that the vehicle caused damage to their horse paddock fence.

The representative says no horses were harmed.

WNKY News 40 reached out to the Scottsville Police Department on Sunday afternoon. The department confirmed that the suspect turned themselves in on Sunday.

SPD is not releasing the suspect’s identity at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
