USPS implements higher first-class stamp prices

(CNN) – The federal government has raised the price of stamps.
After taking effect Sunday, July 13, prices of first-class Forever Stamps has increased.
Senior U.S. Postal Service Rep. Marti Johnson confirmed Saturday that the price of the stamps is up by 5 cents, rising from 73 cents to 78 cents.
Johnson called the jump a “rational and realistic approach.”
