USGA Junior Girls’ Championship wraps up at Olde Stone

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-The USGA Junior Girls’ Championship wrapped up on Saturday at Olde Stone. Yana Wilson took home the Glenna Collett Vare Trophy.

The 15-year-old from Henderson, Nevada faced off against her long-time friend in the golf world, 14-year-old Gianna Clemente.

Wilson has now automatically qualified for the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach.

Olde Stone was honored to have this national event at their club for the week.

“Their focus level is unbelievable at this age. I mean I have teenage daughters and it’s enough to get them ready for bed or to go to school. So to see these girls, how focused they are and dialed in to win this championship is really amazing,” said Olde Stone Golf Pro Kevin Childers
