UPDATE: US 68X project in Logan County delayed

UPDATE (FEB. 23, 8 AM) – The road closure originally scheduled for Feb. 22 at U.S. 68X Fourth Street in the City of Russellville has been delayed due to weather.
The project will now begin on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The lanes are now projected to reopen on Thursday, Feb. 26.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Logan County roadway is set for a temporary closure.
A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 release states that a section of US 68X Fourth Street in Russell will temporarily close beginning Monday, Feb. 23, and continuing through Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The eastbound through lane of US 68X will close at the Bethel Street intersection.
Closures will be in effect from 7 am until 3:30 pm.
KYTC says all other lanes will be open.
According to the release, trucks should detour on KY 2146.
Crews will be repairing a damaged drainage box.
