UPDATE: Sinkhole repaired on Single Tree Way, road reopened

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A sinkhole that developed in January on Single Tree Way has been repaired, officials say.

The City of Bowling Green shared Tuesday that the sinkhole that opened up in a residential area is now paved and complete.

City officials say the road is now reopened to traffic.

This follows the sinkhole damage and collapse of a water main in the area on Jan. 23, which led some residents to have a water outage.
