UPDATE: New information released in Hart County fatal crash

HART COUNTY, Ky. – A person has now been identified in the fatal crash that left one person dead in Hart County.

According to Kentucky State Police, 70-year-old Philip Hodson of Canmer was traveling east on Hardyville Road when his vehicle crossed the centerline, colliding with a ford van.

The driver of the van, along with two passengers were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Two other passengers were  airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital.

Hodson was pronounced deceased by the Hart County Coroner.

The investigation is still ongoing.
