UPDATE: Man allegedly shoots pregnant woman, mother and unborn child die

UPDATE (4/7/26) – Authorities an unborn child and mother have died after a shooting Monday in Glasgow, and one man is charged with murder.

Police say the adult female victim was identified as 22-year-old. Ava Woodcock.

Law enforcement responded to a reported shooting off of Cleveland Avenue in Glasgow.

According to major Terry Flatt, public information officer with the Glasgow Police Department, one male subject identified as 25-year-old Brandon Lee Bond is in custody.

A release from Flatt states a preliminary investigation determined Bond had allegedly shot a female victim while she was sitting inside a vehicle after a domestic incident, before running to a nearby wooded area where he was later found.

Woodcock was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital before being flown to the University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police confirmed Tuesday she had died.

Bond was taken to the Barren County Jail. He was initially charged with first-degree attempted murder-domestic violence, first-degree attempted fetal homicide and first-degree fleeing/evading police. Bond is now charged with murder-domestic violence, first-degree fetal homicide and and first-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot).

Police say there is no danger to the community. The investigation remains active.
