UPDATE: Kentucky State Police releases further details of shooting in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has released further information regarding a shooting that occurred in Warren County on Wednesday.

KSP says its Critical Incident Response Team was requested to the scene to investigate a shooting that occurred on Sept. 25 around 6 p.m.

According to troopers, a male subject sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee, where he was treated and released.

An identity has not been released at this time.

He has been arrested and is awaiting extradition back to Kentucky, authorities say.

No other injuries were reported.
