UPDATE: Authorities say a passing motorist located missing Hart County man in Grayson County

Hart County Missing Man

UPDATE (Oct. 1) GRAYSON/HART – Authorities located a missing Hart County man in Grayson County after being contacted by a passing motorist.

On Sept. 30 at 7 p.m., Hart County Emergency Management and local authorities issued a Golden Alert for 80-year-old Earl Marshal Reynolds, who suffers from dementia and other physical ailments.

Reynolds was last seen driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 4-door truck. The truck has front-end damage on the passenger side. Authorities believe Reynolds was traveling on Martin Pierce Road toward Cub Run.

According to K105, a passing motorist called authorities and said they believed they saw Reynolds’ truck parked on Nina Lane in the 3400 block of Wax Road in Grayson County at approximately 10 p.m.

The caller told authorities that Reynolds appeared to be lying on the ground next to the truck.

The Wax Fire Department, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Grayson County Emergency Management, and EMS were dispatched to the location.

A Wax firefighter located Reynolds and provided aid to Reynolds.

Reynolds was transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center.

According to Hart County Emergency Management, Earl Marshal Reynolds was last seen driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 4-door truck. The truck has front-end damage on the passenger side. Authorities believe Reynolds was traveling on Martin Pierce Road toward Cub Run.

Reynolds was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants and suspenders.
