Update: 4 arrested during drug roundup in Logan County

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Logan County law enforcement is sharing the latest on multiple drug-related arrests in the area.

According to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, it worked with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and Russellville Police Department to arrest multiple individuals on March 24 and March 25 during a drug roundup.

These include Mark Matthews of Russellville, Marilyn F. Posey of Russellville, Chasity Browning of Russellville and Terry Price of Auburn.

Browning faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Matthews faces three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, second or greater offense (less than 4 grams of cocaine), three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and persistent felony offender I.

Posey faces charges of one count of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (cocaine), two counts of first-degree complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, one count of  first-degree complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance, less than 4 grams of cocaine.

Price faces three counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense, greater than 2 grams of methamphetamine, three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree persistent felony offender.
