UPDATE: 2 dead, 3 injured in fatal Logan County crash

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

Sheriff Stephen Stratton says multiple agencies responded to the 5500 block of Franklin Road to a fatal crash on Thursday morning.

Stratton says two vehicles collided, leaving two dead and three injured.

According to a release by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a Ford F-150 driven by 23-year-old Dekamren Terry of Russellville was traveling eastbound on Kentucky 100. Authorities say a Ford Crown Victoria driven by 33-year-old Lee Bradshaw of Russellville was traveling westbound when the vehicles collided in a head-on crash.

The Logan County coroner pronounced the driver, Bradshaw, as well as a passenger of Bradshaw’s vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Jose L. Garcia Jr. of Russellville, dead at the scene.

One juvenile passenger was transported via EMS to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, while a second juvenile passenger was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Kentucky State Police, Logan County Coroner’s Office, Russellville Rural Fire Department, Logan Aluminum Fire Department, Logan County EMS, Logan County ECC, McCoys Wrecker Service and Bams Wrecker Service.

The investigation is ongoing.
