UPDATE: 1 dead after collision on Veterans Memorial Lane

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Further details are now available following a fatal crash on Veterans Memorial Lane Wednesday.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, units responded around 3:26 p.m. to the scene at the intersection of Barren River Road.

Authorities say two vehicles crashed in a T-bone collision.

Deputies say the collision resulted in the death of 52-year-old Donald K. Ballentine of Bowling Green.

The WCSO was assisted on scene by Barren River Fire Department, Bowling Green Fire Department, Med Center EMS, the WCSO Chaplain Team and the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
