United Way of Southern Kentucky gifts over $1 million to local organizations
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – At the Bowling Area Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Southern Kentucky allocated $1,013,484 to local nonprofits and community programs on Tuesday in their annual allocation day.
United Way calls it their “Christmas in July” as well as their favorite and most important day as their mission is to benefit the community as much as they can. On July 9, they did so by distributing funding for impactful missions going on in the BRADD area.
Twenty-five programs provided by 17 organizations were helped out financially in order to better service their community, with $645,639 of the total coming back to Warren County.
