Tyson Food giving out food to the community
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With Tyson moving to town, they’re showing an act of good faith on April 22nd.
At the Western Kentucky University Innovation Campus on Campbell Lane, Tyson will be handing out 20 pound boxes of protein products to any car that pulls up through their pick up line. At 8 a.m., the food giant will be handing out 2,000 boxes on a first come first serve basis.
It’s something Tyson does when they settle in a new town to show the local folk that they care and want to be a part of the community’s fabric. And News 40 was told by Makenzie Younger, a training manager at Tyson, that this will be the first of a few things Tyson will be doing in Bowling Green.
Human Resources rep Kristen Martin added at the end of the interview that they’re still on a hiring spree and if interested, to tell people to go to http://www.Baconjobs.com.
