Two WKU Hilltoppers Enter NCAA Transfer Portal

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Next year, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will look even more different than originally thought.

Since WKU’s 2020-21 season ended last Thursday night, a pair of Hilltoppers have entered the NCAA transfer portal as they look to play elsewhere going forward.

On Saturday, sophomore guard Jordan Rawls officially entered the transfer portal after a campaign in which he averaged 8.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Rawls was expected to play a much larger role in the Hilltoppers’ 2021-22 campaign as a number of seniors leave the program this offseason.

In addition to Rawls, Junior Forward Kevin Osawe also entered the NCAA transfer portal on Monday morning.

Osawe did not get a ton of playing time in his first year as a Hilltopper as evidenced by his average of 8.0 minutes per game this season.

The Toronto-native averaged 2.2 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in limited action and will look to play out the rest of his collegiate career at a different program.
