UPDATE: Two people shot in Allen County

UPDATE: On December 17th, 2021, at approximately 5:25 p.m., Regina Ray, 63, of Scottsville, succumbed to injuries sustained in the December 14th shooting incident in Scottsville, KY.
Ryan Slaughter’s charges have been modified to include one count of murder.
The investigation continues by Kentucky State Police Detectives.

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky: Kentucky State Police say 34 year-old Ryan Slaughters of Scottsville is now behind bars for shooting two people.

KSP says after receiving a call about shooting, they arrived at a home on Moncrief Street in Scottsville and found 27 year-old Christopher Jones and 63 year-old Regina Ray with gunshot wounds. The victims told troopers someone broke into the house, shot them and took off running.

KSP later caught up with Slaughter in Scottsville. Slaughter is now in the Allen County Jail facing several charges.
