Two injured in wreck

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – Two people were injured in the wreck that occurred at the intersection of Morgantown Road and Veterans Memorial Lane. There are no reports of fatalities.

The accident occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

A witness tells WNKY 40 news there were four cars involved and possibly a bus.

There have been some reports that police have arrested at least one individual.

If you have a friend or loved one coming home from work in that direction, please advise them to avoid the area.

Police have parts of the roadway closed off so officers can conduct their investigation.
