Two charged in burglary of judge’s home, 2 others accused of receiving his property

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people are accused of burglarizing the home of a district court judge and two others are accused of receiving the judge’s property.

Wednesday, a Warren County grand jury indicted two people on burglary charges and two others on receiving stolen property.

Howard Timothy Carver, 56, and Rita June Rowland, 41, are accused of breaking into the home of Warren District Judge Sam Potter in June and stealing less than $500 of his property, according to their indictments.

James Sanders, 29, and Dayna Nicole Abbott, 41, are accused of receiving more than $500 of property belonging to Potter, according to their indictments.

All but Sanders were indicted on other charges as well. All are lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
