Two BGHS students cited after boy accused of exposing himself, another accused of filming

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green police issued two citations to students at Bowling Green High School Wednesday afternoon after one student was accused performing a sex act on himself during class and another student is accused of filming the incident, Bowling Green Police Department spokesman Officer Ronnie Ward said.

Both students are juveniles and police can’t release the names of the of the juveniles because juvenile records in Kentucky are sealed.

The student accused of performing the act on himself was cited with first-degree indecent exposure, a misdemeanor, Ward said. The child accused of filming that student was cited on a felony charge of video voyeurism.

Neither of the children were taken into police custody.

Schools spokeswoman Leslie McCoy said the incident did not involve violence or threats to any students or employees but did warrant a call to police.
