Tuesday marks five years since sinkhole at National Corvette Museum

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Tuesday will mark five years since a massive sinkhole opened up at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.

Just after 5:30 a.m. on February 12 2014, a 40-foot-wide, 25-foot-deep sinkhole swallowed eight rare corvettes inside of the museum.

Two years after the incident, the museum opened up an exhibit on the sinkhole.

On Monday night at the Bob Kirby Branch Library in Bowling Green, museum officials will be presenting a short video and discussion on the sinkhole, scheduled for 6 p.m.
