Trimble County man charged with child sexual exploitation offenses

BEDORD, KY. – Kentucky State Police is investigating a man suspected of child sexual exploitation offenses

The KSP Electronic Crime Branch says Kahil Blanden Jahvon Nevils, 18, was arrested Thursday evening following an undercover internet crimes against children investigation.

The branch says it uncovered the suspect allegedly sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

KSP executed a search warrant at a home in Bedford on Thursday and seized equipment believed to be used in the crimes.

Nevils is charged with one count of distribution of obscene matter to minors, one count of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance and one count of procuring/promoting use of a minor by electronic means.

Nevils was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.

The investigation is ongoing.
