Trigg County home a ‘total loss’ following weekend fire

TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (WKDZ) – A home is heavily damaged following a fire in Trigg County Saturday night.

According to WKDZ, Trigg Lyon firefighters say they were dispatched to a wall on fire.

Upon arrival, WKDZ reports firefighters located an attic engulfed in flames on Trigg Furnace Road.

The owner was able to exit the home without injuries, WKDZ reports, however, the home is considered a total loss.

Authorities say some pets were unaccounted for as of Saturday.

Trigg Lyon Fire Department was assisted on scene by Montgomery Fire Department, East Golden Pond Fire Department and the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office.
