Trick-or-treating in Pumpkin Alley

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It was a busy night in the Briarwood neighborhood of Bowling Green, but apparently not as busy as usual.

News 40 spoke to Western Kentucky University student, John Morrison, who said he’s lived in Briarwood his whole life. Morrison said he remembers when he was 8 or 9 years old, and the neighborhood was just starting to organize something around Halloween before it eventually blew up.

We also spoke to some young trick-or-treaters who said they’ve been coming to “Pumpking Alley” for years and it’s, according to them, the best spot to hunt for candy in Bowling Green.
