Traffic to increase in Warren County starting Wednesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Motorists traveling in Warren County this week should be aware of some expected traffic impacts.

Starting Wednesday, traffic officials say a large event at the National Corvette Museum may increase traffic congestion.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says traffic will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, however, the event will continue through the weekend.

Interstate 65 at Exit 28, KY 446 Interstate Drive, KY 1402 Porter Pike and U.S. 31-W/U.S. 68 Louisville Road are expected to receive the heaviest traffic.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas if possible. Law enforcement, along with KYTC District 3, will be in the area. Message boards are in place to warn motorists of the possible congestion.
