Traffic stop leads to fentanyl bust in Pulaski County
PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. – Two people are in custody after deputies say they found drugs during a routine traffic stop in Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was patrolling the Shopville area when they noticed a gray passenger car being driven by 44-year-old David Lewis was committing traffic violations.
Deputies say the vehicle did not immediately pull over when the officer put his lights on but eventually stopped at a church on Highway 934.
Lewis and his passenger, 33-year-old Christina Allred, were arrested.
After a search of the car, deputies say they found 55.8 grams of fentanyl, around 3 grams of meth, over $3,500 in U.S. currency, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
