Traffic stop leads to felony drug arrest

GLASGOW, Ky. Thursday, the Glasgow Police Department conducted a traffic stop on North Broadway Street that resulted in a felony drug arrest.

An officer made contact with the driver identified as Tyler Logsdon and confirmed that his operator’s license was suspended. The officer received consent to search of the vehicle where he located suspected methamphetamine and a glass pipe, according to a release from the Glasgow Police Department.

Tyler Logsdon, 32, of Munfordville, was arrested and charged with disregarding a traffic control device-traffic light, operating on a suspended or revoked operator license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense – methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An arraignment is scheduled for 8:31 a.m. Nov. 2 in Barren District Court.
