Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Allen County

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A man is facing several charges after a traffic stop in Allen County.
On Thursday, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office says it conducted a traffic stop near the 2000 block of Old Gallatin Road.
Deputies say through further investigation, they searched the driver, identified as 37-year-old Corey McGuffey.
Authorities say they located a plastic bag containing methamphetamine and a glass methamphetamine pipe.
McGuffey was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.
He faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, no registration plates and failure to produce an insurance card.
