Toys for Tots Hand It To a Hero returns on Nov. 30

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local first responders and community members are banding to together to support Toys for Tots.

On Nov. 30, the Hand It To a Hero toy drive will return to Walmart located off of Campbell Lane.

Members of the Bowling Green Police Department, Bowling Green Fire Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police, United State Marine Corps, Warren County Regional Jail staff, Med Center Health EMS and Western Kentucky University Police Department will gather toy donations for Toys for Tots.

They will be onsite to accept donations of new toys from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children are also invited to sit on a firetruck or police car and interact with community first responders.

Janel C. Doyle, United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Coordinator, Southern Kentucky, says this is the biggest toy and monetary drive they hold for children in Warren County.
