Toys for Tots, Bowling Green firefighters prepare for Christmas deliveries

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a heartwarming tradition that takes place every Christmas Eve in Bowling Green.

Toys for Tots of Southern Kentucky teams up with the Bowling Green Fire Department to make Christmas wishes come true, one gift at a time.

On Christmas Eve, the two groups are joining together to prepare, loading bags and bicycles for Christmas morning deliveries.

According to a social media post, the Bowling Green Fire Department is a long-time community partner of Toys for Tots. To ensure those deliveries reach those in need, the Housing Authority of Bowling Green selects families to receive the toys.

In addition, Toys for Tots thanks the Fireman Moving Company for donating box trucks each year to assist in the initiative.
