Toyota recalls vehicles that may move while in neutral

(CNN) – The world’s largest automaker has issued recalls for thousands of its pickup trucks and SUVs.
Toyota says it is issuing a series of three recalls that will affect around 280,000 vehicles.
In some Toyota Tundras and Sequoias, the engine doesn’t always fully disengage while in neutral, which can cause a vehicle to creep forward inadvertently.
That represents a significant safety issue and could lead to a potential accident.
There’s a second and smaller recall, about 19,000 vehicles, for Toyota’s electric Mirai and certain 2023 and 2024 Lexus LX 600 models. This involves a software issue that hinders rearview images for the driver.
The third recall is for a few thousand Toyota Camry and Camry hybrids over concerns with the head restraints on the rear fold down seats.
