Toyota recalls more than 43,000 Sequoia hybrids

(CNN) – Toyota is recalling more than 43,000 Sequoia hybrids.

The recall is due to the tow hitch cover on the rear bumper having the potential to detach and fall into the roadway.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the covers could become road hazards and increase the risk of crashes.

The recalled vehicles include the 2023 and 2024 model years.

Dealers will fix the issue for free.
