Tommy Womack performs in Glasgow this weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For those in Glasgow looking for a fun way to kick off the weekend, one concert at The Grove is the place to go.

Tommy Womack will take to the stage this Friday night on the Grove’s outdoor stage. Womack will perform his newly released LP, “I Thought I Was Fine”.

Womack has written songs for many big name artists over the years, including Jimmy Buffett. The Nashville native played with the band “Government Cheese” from parts of the 80s – 90s.

People who get there early are in for a special treat – an opening set from Cris Rutledge.

People come catch these performers when gates open at 5:00p.m. this Friday night while music kicks off at 7:30pm. The Grove welcomes people of all ages to this concert, and kids under 12-years-old get in for free.

The Grove’s PR and Marketing Director & Booking Agent Candace Barbee said she can’t wait for Friday.

“[Womack] just released an album at the beginning of this month, so we’re super excited to have a local legend here on The Grove’s stage.”
