Toddler runover by wagon in Todd County flown for treatment

TRENTON, Ky. – An accident resulted in a child being flown for treatment Friday in Todd County.

According to a WEKT report, a toddler was flown to Nashville after being run over by a wagon on Bells Chapel Road.

The Todd County Sheriff’s Office told WEKT the 1-year-old fell off the wagon. After falling off the wagon, the toddler was run over by a wheel.

WEKT says a helicopter arrived at the scene of the incident and flew the child to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The child was conscious when first responders arrived.
