Thursday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky

Governor Beshear stated in a press conference Thursday there are 910 new cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky, bringing the statewide total to 69,728.

17 new deaths were also reported Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 1,191.

Here’s a look at the latest local numbers from the Barren River District Health Department.

There have been 7,373 total cases in all these counties combined since the start of the pandemic, 6,195 have recovered.

There are no new deaths reported in any of these counties.

– BARREN COUNTY: 802 (+9)

– LOGAN COUNTY: 591 (+2)

– BUTLER COUNTY:359 (+2)

– ALLEN COUNTY: 378 (+7)

– SIMPSON COUNTY: 294 (+1)

– HART COUNTY: 198 (+1)

– EDMONSON COUNTY: 157 (+1)

– METCALFE COUNTY:129 (+1)
