Thursday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky
Governor Andy Beshear announced during his daily press briefing Thursday afternoon that there have been 1,821 newly reported cases. The state’s total is now at 103,305.
Kentucky’s positivity rate still sits near 6% with 6.04%
Nineteen more Kentuckians have died from the virus Thursday, that brings the total number of lives lost in Kentucky to 1,461.
The Barren River District Health Department reports that Warren County has 58 new positive cases Thursday. Each county in the viewing area reported new positive cases.
Even with these high case numbers around the area, there are no new deaths reported. The total remains at 153.
