Three arrested on drug, child abuse charges following noise complaint

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Three people are facing drug possession and child abuse charges.

According to a citation, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call to 255 East Heights Avenue at around midnight in reference to a possible disturbance. A complainant told police that a man was walking around the apartment complex banging on doors and making “weird” noises.

Upon arrival, deputies say they located Brian Whitehead, 32 of Clarksville, TN, laying face down at the top of a staircase and beating his head on the concrete and striking himself.

Deputies say Whitehead admitted to taking fentanyl. Whitehead was then transported by EMS to the Medical Center for treatment due to his injuries.

Deputies asked all other occupants of the residence to exit. The deputies then made contact with Danielle Caulder, 30 of Bowling Green, and Caelan Sullivan, 29 of Bowling Green.

Both Caulder and Sullivan denied deputies request to search the residence. Deputies applied for and were granted a warrant to search the residence.

Deputies say that during a search of Caulder’s room, they located glass pipe with black and white residue, believed to be consistent with methamphetamine. A baggie containing white, crystal-like substances was also found. Both Caulder and Whitehead denied possessing illegal substances.

According to the citation, a juvenile was present in Caulder and Whitehead’s bedroom and had access to the controlled substances found in the room.

Deputies also search Sullivan’s bedroom.

During the investigation, deputies say they located a blue fentanyl pill, silver aluminum foil wrappers containing residue, glass pipes containing residue, and straws with burnt ends. Deputies say that the juvenile also had access to the controlled substances in Sullivan’s bedroom.

All items at the residence were seized and sent to the Kentucky State Police for testing.

Caulder, Sullivan and Whitehead were taken into custody are lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.

Caulder and Whitehead are charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st off (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, and criminal abuse 1st degree-child 12 or under.

Sullivan is charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, carfentanil or fentanyl deriatives, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, and criminal abuse 1st degree-child 12 or under.
