Thousands protest Trump visit

(NBC News) Thousands took to the streets of London Tuesday to protest President Trump’s visit.

Away from the demonstrations, President Trump took part in a roundtable discussion with outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May to discuss ongoing Brexit talks and a possible trade deal.

“As the UK makes preparations to exit the European Union, the United States is committed to a phenomenal trade deal between the US and the UK. There is tremendous potential in that trade deal,” Mr. Trump said afterward.
