The relationship between screen time and nearsightedness

The time you spend looking at screens is increasing your risk of nearsightedness, also known as Myopia. A study published in JAMA showed people who look at screens for even just one hour a day had a 21 percent high risk for myopia, and the risk rises as digital screen time increases.  It’s estimated by 2050, nearly half the world’s population will have nearsightedness.
