The Logan County Health Fest providing free health advice and free health services

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky.- The Logan County Tobacco and Heritage Festival is creating lots of fun family events, and now they are working to keep you and your family healthy.

Logan Memorial Hospital is partnering with several agencies as part of the Tobacco Heritage Festival .

For an event that will provide the community with free blood draws, free health screenings and free education on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The chief nursing officer, Shirley Blick, is extremely passionate about providing health opportunities to her community and is going the extra mile next week to make sure everyone gets a chance to have a healthier lifestyle.

Blick says, “We get a lot of comments out in the community that they are excited about the health fair and being able to come and be apart of it but its a chance for them to see the other agencies in the community that can be of help to them if they need it. That’s why we’re here, to help them to be educated and to work with them to a better healthier person.”
