‘The Dark Side of the Moon: 50 Years in a Heartbeat’ returns to Hardin Planetarium
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A popular event is returning to Hardin Planetarium at Western Kentucky University.
“The Dark Side of the Moon: 50 Years in a Heartbeat” is back at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Fridays, as well as some Saturdays.
“This is the same show we offered in 2023, which sold out nearly every showing. Experiencing this album with other fans, in a planetarium with full-dome simulations that convey themes of the album can be a real eye-opener,” planetarium specialist Chris Chandler explained.

The show is offered as a fundraiser in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of WKU Ogden College of Science and Engineering ahead of the planetarium’s 60th anniversary in 2027.
