Tennessee teen still missing 100 days later
HENDERSONVILLE, Tn.- It’s now been one hundred days since a teenager from Tennessee went missing from his home. Sebastian Rogers is autistic and it may impact his ability to return without assistance.
On February 26th, an Amber Alert was issued for the 15-year-old from Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children says he was last seen in the area of Stafford Court in Hendersonville.
Authorities say they are no closer to solving the mystery of what happened to Sebastian.
In recent weeks, the most recent tip was a photograph taken at a visitor center in North Carolina. That look-a-like teen was identified and confirmed not to be Rogers.
The number of tips or potential sightings reported has decreased recently and search efforts by authorities have become less frequent.
Eric Craddock is the Chief Deputy with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and heads up the investigation. He says based on what evidence they have now, it might be a good time to look at the information of the case as a whole.
“I think in the absence of information what we continue to do is go back over everything we’ve already done once put a fresh set of eyes on it,” Deputy Eric Craddock, Sumner County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say all options are on the table, including foul play.
If you have any information on Rogers’ whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND (1-800-824-3463) or the Sumner County Emergency Communications Center at 615-451-3838.
