Tennessee man dies in early morning wreck

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Tennessee man is dead following a one-vehicle wreck near the 15 mile marker of Interstate 65 south.

Kentucky State Police were called to the scene at  5:53 a.m. Friday.

Ricky E. Diaz, 54, of Hendersonville, Tenn., was operating a 1999 Chevrolet car, traveling south on I-65 when his vehicle, for an undetermined reason, exited the right shoulder of the road.  Upon exiting the road, Diaz’s vehicle struck a cluster of trees and overturned before coming to final rest.  

The Warren County Coroner’s Office pronounced Diaz deceased on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
