Tennessee man arrested in Glasgow after driving stolen vehicle
GLASGOW, Ky. – A Tennessee man is facing multiple charges after police say they located him driving a stolen vehicle in Glasgow on Thursday.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers located the stolen vehicle traveling southbound on S L Roger Wells Boulevard.
Police say they conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Darrel Rex Hayes, 52, of Livingston, Tennessee.
Authorities say during a vehicle search, they discovered a firearm that had been reported stolen from Tennessee.
Hayes was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center.
He is charged with receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, receiving stolen property (firearm) and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
