Tennessee man arrested and airlifted following police pursuit

TOMKINSVILLE, Ky. – Kentucky State Police arrested a Tennessee man after a car chase Sunday night.

According to press release, Trooper Allen Shirley attempted to initiate a traffic stop when the driver, 20-year-old, Adam Cisneros of Red Boiling Springs, refused to pull over.

The release stated that Cisneros drove for several miles before turning onto Lee Humes Road in Metcalfe County where he lost control of the vehicle.

Cisneros then got out of the vehicle and started to run. He was apprehended by Trooper Shirley and airlifted to the University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He is charged with speeding, evading police both 1st and 2nd degree, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

Cisneros was previously arrested last year after accused of stealing an AR-15 from inside a school in Tennessee.
