Tennessee man arrested after vehicle pursuit passes through Logan County

TODD COUNTY, Ky. – A Tennessee man remains in jail after authorities say he led a multi-county chase Saturday.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office says it assisted the Logan County Sheriff’s Office in an ongoing pursuit around midnight.
During the pursuit, authorities say the vehicle reached speeds over 95 mph. Authorities say the pursuit continued on Russellville Road until a deputy deployed spike strips, stopping the silver Chevy Malibu.
The pursuit ended at the 5000 block of Russellville Road in Todd County, when the driver, identified as Jimmie Browder, 35, of Springfield, Tennessee, fled on foot, authorities say.
Browder was arrested and remains at the Logan County Detention Center.
He faces charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), speeding 26 miles per hour or more above the speed limit, reckless driving, second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, operation of a mobile home park without a permit, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, first offense (aggravating circumstances), improper passing, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first offense.
Browder also had two felony arrest warrants out of Robertson County, Tennessee for the sale of fentanyl and heroin, as well as a probation violation warrant for a felony offense.
